Types of bunion
We use “Bunion” to describe a variety of foot deformations when in fact there are 5 different types of Bunions. These are influceneced by one’s walking habits, original bone structure, and possibly disease related factors.
It is necessary to figure out which type of Bunion you are affected by because it’s difficult to understand the real cause and efficient treatment method otherwise.
This categorizatoin of bunion types results from more than 40 years of experience with Bunion patients in our clinic and we believe these “types” will become standard as industry research and study progresses.
